There are tons of devices on the market for streaming digital content, but it may be difficult to find the options geared specifically toward younger consumers. Cinemoodis one such device and we spoke with the team about this portable media projector at CES 2019.

In the CES 2019 interview below, we speak with Cinemood Head of Marketing Alina K about what the portable projector has inside, the relationship with Disney, streaming personal content to the device, and more. Our younger generations are able to consume an incredible amount of content and it is tough for parents to filter out all of the things that could be inappropriate for them. Cinemood makes things a little bit easier by providing parents, teachers, or others with a device focused on kids from two to nine-years-old.

The Cinemood is a 3-inch projector that manages up to 5 hours of battery life. It can create up to a 12-foot project on any flat surface and is noiseless. It can connect to the expected streaming services like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc., but Disney has supplied some direct content as an official partner with Cinemood. The device comes loaded with over 65 digital books and safety videos featuring Disney characters and, as we learned in the video above, there are plans to expand the content library.

There's $450 worth of preloaded kid-friendly content on Cinemood, including ebooks, shadow puppets, lullabies, bedtime stories, and cartoons. The team also recently added Ameba TV, a children's video streaming service featuring content "designed to spark children's curiosity, empower them to explore, and develop skills that will help them with school and prepare them for life."
