Hype for the Dragon Ball world is at an all-time high with the success of the Dragon Ball FighterZ game and Dragon Ball Super anime series. Riding that wave of energy, Bandai Namco has announced a new title coming to Nintendo Switch and PC in April. Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is a tactical RPG card game and its the first time the Dragon Ball Heroes series has been released outside of Japan.

“Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is a one-of-a-kind experience that will surely captivate Dragon Ball fans,” said Mark Religioso, Brand Manager at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc, in a press release. “This is the first time a Super Dragon Ball Heroes series game has been slated for release for fans outside of Japan and we are excited to present this series and genre of Dragon Ball games to western audiences. The strategic gameplay will surely delight every Dragon Ball fan who loves a challenge.”

Hero Town, the setting of Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, is an alternate reality where a Dragon Ball-themed card game is a popular form of entertainment played at amateur and professional levels. Players take control of Beat and team up with classic Dragon Ball characters to defend Hero Town when antagonists start wreaking havoc. The characters featured come from Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Dragon Ball GT, and more. There are also brand new characters created by Toyotarou-sensei, the creator of the Dragon Ball Super manga, for the game's original story.
