After teasing Warhammer: Vermintide 2 players with remastered content from the first game in the series, Fatshark has launched Return to Ubersreik and revealed the content that players we'll be able to play. Please take a look at the DLC's launch trailer below.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Back to Ubersreik features three highly-regarded levels from Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, all remastered and enhanced to match the quality of the newer title. These levels come along with a few other additions:
- Three new old levels - Horn of Magnus, Engines of War, and Garden of Morr
- New Quests and Challenges
- New Weapons and Illusions
- Secret content
“Fatshark is bringing you back in time, and then changing the history with amped graphics and new enemies,” says Martin Wahlund, CEO of Fatshark, in the press release. “Besides being very happy to introduce newer Heroes to Ubersreik, I am personally very much looking forward sounding the horn in the Magnus Tower.”
As far as the "secret content" goes, the press release for this DLC includes a statement that "three levels are included in the Back to Ubersreik DLC - officially." Surely, this will inspire players to do whatever it takes to find what seems to be one or multiple additional levels. I bought it to support the developer because I love the game but just three maps? Just port all the maps from the og game. Fuck remastering it was like three years ago.
