TGA 2018: The Pathless is a gorgeous trip from the developer of Abzu

The Pathless looks like it'll certainly appeal to fans of Abzu and is targeting a 2019 release date.

The Pathless was a particularly beautiful game announced during The Game Awards 2018. From developer Giant Squid, who you might recognize as the brains behind the fantastic game Abzu, it's a gorgeous adventure game that deserves your time and attention.

Abzu released in 2016, though it's still one of the prettiest games you'll find on any console. The Pathless looks to take similar cues from that game, though instead of being set underwater, it appears to take place in a forest teeming with different kinds of creatures, including some particularly terrifying fire monsters.
