TGA 2018: Far Cry New Dawn trailer announces February release date

Far Cry New Dawn goes post-apocalyptic in the latest entry in the series ahead of its April release date.

Far Cry New Dawn, officially announced during The Game Awards 2018, is heading straight for the apocalypse. The latest addition to the Far Cry series dropped a special trailer in full, giving us our first look at the follow-up to Far Cry 5.

The game takes place 17 years after the events of Far Cry 5, following one of the endings that was possible in Far Cry 5. New Dawn thrusts some rusty, makeshift weapons into the hands of players and has them explore the nuclear wasteland, much like Fallout. Of interest are some CO2-powered crossbows that shoot out saw blades faster than you can blink.

Far Cry New Dawn is currently set for a February 15 release date.
