ArenaNet's Guild Wars 2 has welcomed Roller Beetle Racing in a new series of public events that players can tackle solo or challenge their friends and guild mates in.

Roller Beetle Racing brings some seriously fun ways for players to interact with each other, letting them rev up their roller beetle mounts and race against each other in five different race tracks across the land of Tyria. They're public events meant to lavish Guild Wars 2 players with reasons to brag on their best times and bragging rights in different locations around the world. It's also available for every Guild Wars 2 player, no matter of rank or time played in-game.

The new roller beetle mount first made its way to Guild Wars 2 in June's Living World Episode 3 update, Long Live the Lich. Episode 3 is now free for all players through January 7, 2019, and new players will be able to rent a roller beetle mount at each course starting line to make sure everyone has a chance at winning.

There's also a new ArenaNet sweepstakes to go along with the introduction of Roller Beetle Racing, featuring a custom-wrapped roller beetle Type RBR car for the lucky grand prize winners. To enter, all you need to do is make sure you've opted into email communication at the official Guild Wars 2 sweepstakes site and enter one singular roller beetle race during the time the sweepstakes is going on. From now through December 24, joining a race enters you into a drawing for weekly prizes as well as the grand prize.

Weekly prizes include Razer PC package with a Razer BlackWidow Elite keyboard, Kraken Tournament Edition headset, Naga Trinity mouse and Goliathus Extended Chroma mouse mat, Other prizes include an Alienware Aurora PC and monitor, a vacation to San Diego featuring a sand dune buggy excursion, or a home theater entertainment system.

Every weekly entry stacks for you to potentially win the grand prize, which lets you earn four entries for the final drawing. Get out there and get to rolling those beetles for a chance to win!
