Beat Saber PSVR release date announced

Slash away to the music.

Love rhythm games? Love playing around in VR but prefer using your PlayStation VR device above all others? There's a fantastic game coming this month that you'll want to add to your "must buy" list: Beat Saber VR.

The popular rhythm game is officially debuting on PlayStation VR on November 20, with brand new songs and features, according to Beat Games via the PlayStation Blog. Despite the fact that it launched with 10 songs, PC players with VR headsets have been using their own custom songs and levels, so the PlayStation VR version will need to include additional tracks to hold players' interest – it's a great move.

There will be a new expansion pack for the console shortly after release, with 10 more songs, and the intent to "release new music regularly," according to Beat Games. It will also include a Practice Mode so new players can get the hang of things. If you've never seen it in action, you essentially slash away at blocks to the tune of each track, and avoid obstacles with your body. It's challenging, but amazing to watch pros play, for sure.

Check out the official trailer and sharpen your rhythm skills ahead of its debut – you're definitely going to need them!
