New Nintendo Switch trailer shows people coming together to play anytime, anywhere

Seeing people come together through gaming is an awesome thing.

Nintendo wants to make sure we know the Switch is for everyone, and a new marketing campaign from the company is doing its best to ensure the message is driven home.

A new ad for the Switch shows all members of the family, including Mom and Dad and even Grandma and Grandpa getting in on the fun at all times of day. A dad walks into the room while his son is playing Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and soon sits down for fun with him, while grandparents sit in on a fun game of Super Mario Party.

Later on, players on a bus get connected by sharing Joy-Con controllers for a quick game, while a sister joins her brother upon finally returning home fo a quick game now that she's finally back with her family. It's a pretty heartwarming ad that effectively demonstrates the uniting power of the Switch and how you can very quickly and easily get friends and family involved, even if they aren't typically gamers.

Check out the ad above, but don't feel bad if you start thinking about your own experiences with family and gaming, especially if your family is anything like mine and the only person who likes them is your Dad. Sigh.
