CD Projekt Red's Gwent card game has kept the Witcher universe alive in a competitive format, but the developers are also mixing that experience with something more akin to Geralt's single-player adventures. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales delivers a single-player RPG quest with card-based combat at its foundation and the team has released a 37-minute gameplay walkthrough showing players what to expect.

If this lengthy gameplay video below peaks your interest, there's still time to pre-order Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales and snatch up a handful of digital goodies. There's an artbook, The Witcher graphic novel, in-game content, and more all up for grabs.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales launches first on PC via GOG October 23, 2018, and then comes to Xbox One and PS4 on December 4, 2018. Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates.
