Fortnite Mobile Android beta officially open to all compatible devices

Even if your device isn't on the official list, it may work as long as it hits the recommended specifications.

Fortnite mania is about to get another shot in the arm. The game has already been thriving on iOS and surpassed 15 million downloads during the limited Android release in September. As of today, Fortnite Mobile is available across all compatible Android devices. Previously, players had to wait for invites from Epic Games to participate and the list of compatible devices was significantly shorter.

If you haven't taken the dive into Fortnite Mobile on Android yet, here are the recommended specs for your mobile smart device if you wany the best performance from the game:

  • OS: Recommended Android 8.0 or higher, 64 bit
  • RAM: Recommended 4GB or higher
  • GPU: Adreno 530 or higher, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or higher

There's an official list of devices featuring the Nokia 8 to Lenovo's Moto Z lineup, but the official FAQ for Fortnite Mobile on Android says that your unlisted device still may work as long as it has the specs listed above. Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates.
