Google's annual Made by Google hardware event is kicking off today, and everything the company has to offer will be shown off during its special livestream event. Luckily, you can watch it right here with the good folks at Shacknews as the news breaks and we're here to cover it all for you as it happens.

The yearly hardware showcase's crown jewel will of course be the Pixel 3 phone announcement, which has been ruined a bit given the fact that it's already leaked in Hong Kong (bummer), but there's other stuff to pay attention to, too: the new Pixel Slate, Chromecasts, as well as a variety of other surprises that haven't leaked all over the internet just yet.

The Pixel event will be taking place in New York, but you don't have to be in the Empire State to appreciate what's going on, as you can just jump online here with us at Shacknews and watch the livestream below to make sure you're in the loop.

Let us know what you think of the latest announcements when the stream begins at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET!

That was a bit weird, no specs at all, only a few little footnotes about software, very very little we didn't already know. Considering that they acknowledged up front that the products had been leaked, I'd have hoped they'd have had something more up their sleeve.
