Monolith Soft has experienced a high degree of success since launching Xenoblade Chronicles 2, even going on a hiring spree for future projects. The team is also still strongly supporting the game, having revealed the Torna: The Golden Country DLC at E3 2018. Today, we give a look at some gameplay from the massive new expansion.

For Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Torna: The Golden Country gives players a look at the conflict that set up the base game's events by rewinding 500 years. Players control the new lead character, Lora, and her blade Jin, who rescued her from her abusive family. The expansion includes other new characters, a refined battle system, new Titans to explore, and more.

Torna: The Golden Country releases individually on September 21, 2018, but is available as part of the expansion pass now.
