How to get Amulet of Kvasir+ talisman in God of War
Finding the Amulet of Kvasir+ talisman and fully upgrading it is one goal players will want to pursue.
God of War’s New Game+ brings new armor sets and talismans for players to chase, and none are as powerful as the Amulet of Kvasir+ when fully upgraded. Though players can see this upgrade option at Brok or Sindri’s shop, there’s no clue as to where one can find the Amulet of Kvasir+.
Where to find Amulet of Kvasir+ Talisman
There are dozens of talismans to collect in God of War, but the Amulet of Kvasir+ and the Golden Talisman of Protection are two of the best options for players looking to lift Kratos’ level to max. Finding the Amulet of Kvasir+ is as easy as locating one of the many legendary chests hidden around the world of God of War. The only caveat for acquiring this item is the game must be on New Game+ (just in case that wasn’t obvious).
The legendary chest players will need to find is located in Alfheim, specifically to the right of the Temple of Light where Kratos recharges the Bifrost. Row the boat to the beach, defeat the enemies, and proceed to the right to find a mechanism which raises the gate. Interact with the following mechanism, being sure to clear the red vines out of the way. Once through the gate, follow the path along, until you reach the end. Clear the three red vines blocking access to the side area and then head inside.
Once inside, players will need to spin the wheel completely to rotate the bars up the top which will line-up the three red vines. With the wheel locked, release it and step to the right a few feet and look up to the left to see the bars moving back to their previous spot. As the bars cross over one another, throw the Leviathan axe to sever all the red vines, freeing the legendary chest. Open the legendary chest to receive the Amulet of Kvasir+ talisman.
With the amulet in hand, players can continue toward the Temple of Light to find Sindri, where they can take a moment to upgrade the talisman. Because the Amulet of Kvasir+ is a Perfect talisman, it can be upgraded to level 10, which will help raise Kratos’ level even higher. Keep in mind that it will require a lot of Skap Slag to upgrade, so make sure you know how to farm Skap Slag!
