H1Z1: Battle Royale has done quite well for itself, it seems. The original standalone battle royale shooter has, since making its way to PlayStation 4, been played by over 10 million players on the console. Those numbers aren't anything to sneeze at, especially since it's been just since the game's open beta launch on May 22, 2018.

With that in mind, players have enjoyed over 102 million hours of the game in just the first month of the open beta, and in celebration of this milestone, Daybreak Games is releasing some freebies for players. Anyone who's logged into H1Z1 ahead of 11:59 PM PT on Wednesday, June 27, will get a free Darkfire Pickup Truck and Sunrise Parachute skin in-game for free. They'll just be added to your inventory over the weekend, if you qualify for the items.

Along with the goodies, H1Z1 also introduced a new game update, with new Revive mechanics, aim acceleration adjustments, and a new weapon in the Airstrike Signal, which lets you call in a ton of bombs to drop on unsuspecting enemies. It looks like a blast, especially if you have a few enemies in mind you want to completely obliterate.

If you haven't tried out H1Z1 on PlayStation 4, now seems like a pretty great time to do so. Are you thinking of jumping on board? Let us know!
