One of the many unexpected reveals from the Microsoft E3 2018 briefing was the announcement of Jump Force, a new current-generation fighting game based around the worlds of Shonen Jump. Developed by Bandai Namco, the upcoming title will allow players to brawl with some of their favorite anime and manga characters in what appears to be a massive arena based somewhere in the United States. Shacknews was on-scene at E3 2018, and managed to capture some crisp gameplay footage.

As far as we can tell from the game footage we've seen so far, Jump Force looks to include six different characters; Goku and Freezer from Dragon Ball, Naruto and Sasuke from Naruto, and Luffy as well as Zoro from One Piece. Of course, this lineup is subject to change, as the game is still under active development.

There's no firm release date just yet, but players can expect Jump Force to land on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC sometime next year.
