FIFA is one of the biggest franchises in all of videogames and is regularly the most popular sports video game on the planet. When you have so many fans and eyes on your product, the pressure to deliver with each new iteration is intense. During E3 2018, the Shacknews street steam got the opportunity to speak with Santiago Jaramillo, creative director for the FIFA franchise about FIFA 19 and the inclusion of the UEFA license.

The interview also covers the game’s new modes, including the new career mode. FIFA Ultimate Team will also big a big focus and merged with the UEFA license. The interview covers how important the Ultimate Team mode to the success of the game and what it’s meant for the bottom line at EA. During the EA Play press briefing at E3, it was announced that players can get a free trial of FIFA 18 and its brand new World Cup DLC today.
