E3 2018: Insomniac's Stormland Reveals Tempest, More New Gameplay

Enemies can change Stormland's world, giving the game a roguelike feel.

During PC Gamer's PC Gaming Show, Insomniac's chief creative officer Chad Dezern took the stage to break down some of Stormland's gameplay.

Stormland's big hook is a huge open world that's fully explorable in VR. You'll navigate a cloudscape in your robotic body, gaining new abilities by augmenting your body as you fly around the world.

That world can change, however, thanks to gameplay elements that Dezern revealed at today's conference. One enemy, the Tempest, alters the world in various ways every week, giving you reason to return to areas you've already explored to see what's changed, and how.
