Japan Studio's Nicolas Doucet Talks Astro Bot Rescue Mission and Adorable Robots

The cutest little robot you ever did see.

Nicolas Doucet, Creative Director and Producer at Japan Studio for PlayStation, was on hand to chat with Shacknews about the upcoming Astro Bot Rescue Mission, quite possibly one of the cutest PlayStation VR titles out there yet.

Astro Bot tasks you with controlling Astro, the Bot captain of a ship out on a rescue mission to retrieve its lost crew members, scattered throughout 5 different planets. You'll explore 26 stages through 5 different worlds, each with their own boss fights.

It's also created for PlayStation VR, with DualShock 4 support in that you can actually see your controller in the VR space. It might even become a water gun, ninja star, or some other crazy device that you can use to solve various problems.

Unfortunately, right now there's no word on when we might be able to expect a release, but it definitely looks like a game you'll want to keep on your radar for the future. Make sure to keep checking back at Shacknews for updates on the cutest little robot captain around!
