Hot on the heels of the news that Batman, the legendary DC Comics detective, is joining the Arena of Valor roster, Tencent has announced a testing phase for Nintendo Switch owners. We've known the popular MOBA would be coming to Nintendo's successful hybrid console for a while, but now we have official breadcrumbs that will lead to the game's full release. The Arena of Valor beta on Nintendo Switch will go live this Summer and exact dates will be revealed in the near future.

Superman also joined the Arena of Valor roster on the 80th anniversary of the character, joining a crew of over 60 playable heroes. Arena of Valor is a MOBA optimized for quick mobile matches that last roughly 15 minutes. The update that introduced Batman also included a new Death Match game mode that pits five players of two against each other.

Those that wish to get access to the Arena of Valor closed beta on Nintendo Switch must complete a short survey. The purpose of this phase is to test servers and will only be available to the North American and European regions.

Beta keys will arrive later this month and the phase will feature unlimited play of the traditional 5v5 mode. Stay tuned to Shacknews for more updates.
