Valor TV also brings robust spectator options via the new update to one of the most popular mobile games around.

Tencent has released a major update to their popular MOBA Arena of Valor and it introduces the Dark Knight himself to the playable roster. A new game mode, overhauled feature set, Valor TV, and more are stuffed into this update as well. Check out some Batman gameplay in the trailer below.

The new Death Match game mode pits five teams of two against each other in a colosseum-esque map. Each hero has points above their head which can be taken by any rivals who defeat them. Thus, players with higher scores will become hunted and the power should shift in this mode quite frequently. It offers up a pretty cool shift of the Arena of Valor formula and will hopefully resonate with some of the game's massive audience.

Valor TV is another major addition included in this update, introducing a feature that allows players to watch matches lives, check event schedules, and watch recordings of competitions. The feature is optimized for mobile and the game's menus, friend list, and messaging systems have received updates as well.

Arena of Valor is available for free on Android and iOS right now. The MOBA will be coming to Nintendo Switch sometime in the future.
