Dying Light's 10th and Final Content Drop Has Arrived

The 10 in 12 programs is coming to an end.

2

Techland intended to move away from Dying Light development at the end of 2016 but, due to the continued support of the zombie survival game's community, the dev team decided to add more to the game via the 10 in 12 program. Over 12 months, Techland has added nine pieces of DLC and the 10th arrives today. Badlands Rider is available now and introduces a new playable character, new buggy, and three new weapons.

The Empress machete, Heatwave crossbow, and Sandstorm shotgun are the three new weapons being added in this final content drop.

While this looks like the end for 10 in 12, Dying Light is still due the Bad Blood expansion mode. It's a competitive survival mode that's currently in a test phase and, when it releases sometime this year, it will be a standalone addition that doesn't require the base game.

I like the free content don't get me wrong. It's awesome that the devs are adding new stuff for free, especially this long since the game's release.

but this is really just skins of things that are already in the game, right? which feels not very exciting
