If you're going to E3 2018, set aside some time in your schedule to walk rght across the street from the Los Angeles Convention Center around the Devolver Lot to take part in IndiE3, or Indie Heaven. It's a three-day celebration of indie gaming where you can take part in meetings with indie game developers while chilling out at Don Chente LA, right above Hooters - so you know you can get your snack on while hanging out there. Official dates have been announced, and you can take part in the celebration from June 12 through June 14 in between all the other madcap E3 goodness going on.
There will be press demos, industry meetings and more, with developers of games like these:
• Phantom Doctrine (Good Shepherd Entertainment)
• Black Future ‘88 (Good Shepherd Entertainment)
• Semblance (Good Shepherd Entertainment)
• World War Z (Saber Interactive)
• Rune (Human Head Studios)
• Bendy and the Ink Machine (The Meatly Games + Rooster Teeth Games)
• SoundSelf (Transcendant Realities)
• Transcendent VR
• Deep VR (Owen Harris)
• Breath of Life (Auralab)
• Microdose VR
If that's not enough, there'll also be surprises from Special Reserve Games and a live-streaming stage hosted by none other than Shacknews! Yes, you read that right. You need to stop by so you can see what we've got planned! Though most of the good stuff is by appointment only, there's a rooftop lounge open to all E3 attendees 21 and over, and lots of other fun stuff to check out, with food and drinks on offer.
Is it going to be the best thing ever? Mike Wilson, President of the FREESA, the association charged with organizing IndiE3 each year, totally agrees. "Yep. This is going to be the best thing ever." Don't miss it!
