Destiny 2 - Lost Prophecy Tablets and Weapon Forge

How to unlock all the Lost Prophecy guns in Destiny 2, Curse of Osiris.

0

Curse of Osiris, Destiny 2’s first DLC, has landed, bringing with it more Legendary gear for players to unlock. Of this new gear are Mercury-specific weapons that are inspired by Vex and designed by Osiris himself. In order to earn these weapons, you will need to purchase the Lost Prophecy tablets from Brother Vance in the Lighthouse, collect the necessary materials, and then craft them using the weapon forge known as Infinite Forge.

There are currently 11 weapons that can be crafted, each with set perks, and each requiring specific items to create. Only three Lost Prophecy tablets can be purchased from Brother Vance each week, so be sure to visit him each Weekly Reset in order to complete your collection.

How to Unlock the Weapon Forge and Lost Prophecy Tablets

You would have no doubt noticed that the Weapon Forge is locked and there's no way to interact with it when you first reach the Lighthouse. This is because the Lost Prophecy Tablets, and by association the Weapon Forge, are locked behind a few tasks you must complete before you can begin crafting the Vex-inspired weaponry. To unlock the Weapon Forge and the Lost Prophecy Tablets you need to:

  • Finish the Curse of Osiris campaign
  • Complete all three Adventures on Mercury
  • Select a Heroic Adventure from Brother Vance
  • Finish Heroic Adventure

Once these steps are complete, return to Brother Vance to receive your first Lost Prophecy. We have a complete Curse of Osiris campaign walkthrough if you’re struggling with any part. Completing the Lost Prophecy you receive from Brother Vance will allow you to select a new Lost Prophecy.

Where to Find Lost Prophecy Tablet Materials

There are a few different materials you will need to collect in order to charge the Lost Prophecy Tablets. Thankfully, these materials can drop from multiple activities, so you won’t necessarily be forced to play Crucible if you don’t want to.

Concentrated Radiolarian Culture: Earned from Public Events

Advanced Paradox Amplifier: Earned by completeing Strikes, Crucible matches, and Heroic adventures on Merucry

Fossilized Hermaion Blossom: Earned by completing Nightfall Strikes, Trials of the Nine matches, and Heroic Strikes. Check out our guide on how to get Fossilized Hermaion Blossom for more information.

Two siblings cleaved by time and space, reflections never found alone,
The ending of the eldritch race – a path long seen but never known.

Being that this is the first Lost Prophecy Tablet you'll receive, it makes sense that it's relatively quick and painless to unlock. Despite this, it still might take some time to get a Concentrated Radiolarian Culture. Keep in mind, you can trade in 10 Radiolarion Culture to Brother Vance in exchange for 1 Concentrated version.

Materials Required: Advanced Paradox Amplifier (3)

Lost Prophecy, Verse 11 – Another Verse (Shotgun)

The final Lost Prophecy is a little different to the other Verses as it is currently not known how to actually acquire. However, there's a good chance that once you gather the other ten weapons, you'll receive a quest from Brother Vance that will reward you with this final weapon.

While only a few Lost Prophecy Tablets are available each week, it might take a bit of time collecting the necessary materials in order to craft the guns on the weapon forge. Remember to check back with Brother Vance each week so you don’t miss out on your Lost Prophecy Tablets!
