The Nintendo Switch has seen a flood of software on its eShop, most particularly during the last month or two. Each new week seems to offer new surprises, and one of the next big things looks like it could be Golf Story. The game is due to reach the eShop this week, on September 28.

The developer took to Twitter to confirm the release date for North America, after the game was confirmed as coming to the European eShop earlier this week.

Golf Story is one of several titles highlighted in the August Nindies Showcase, and is currently listed on the eShop without an attached release date.  The game will let players explore 8 environments the listing promises each have their own “courses, challenges, people and secrets.” The game also features a story, and presents numerous problems that you can solve simply by playing golf.

“Play the story of a golfer, forced to give up all that he holds dear for one final shot at accomplishing his dream,” reads the publisher’s official game description. “But all is not so simple in the world of golf. To best today's players you have to be able to keep up with them not just on the course, but also outside of it.”

Golf Story has an MSRP of $14.99 and is developed and published by SideBar Games, a new studio with no previous releases to its name. The title is one of several coming to Nintendo Switch this week, with other impending releases including Sine Mora EX, Arcade Archives: Mario Bros., Conga Master Party!, Astro Bears Party, and more. With so many titles on the way, will you have time to take to the green with Golf Story?
