Nintendo just announced the next Nintendo Direct on their social media accounts.

The online video presentation will last nearly 45 minutes and will focus on both Nintendo Switch and 3DS platforms. The Big N also has promised to provide us with more details about Mario Odyssey.  We recently learned that Mario is apparently no longer a plumber and some of our staff has a sneaking suspicion that Super Mario Odyssey is actually a simulation. Tune in at 3 PM PT/ 6 PM ET to find out what Nintendo has in store with this latest Nintendo Direct.

Yep. I'm still interested but feel like that ship has sailed for most people.

Yeah, I'm excited to hear what's going to happen the rest of this year. I do expect Xenoblade to be pushed back to 2018 though.

I thought it was still on track for this year.

Last we heard it was, but we've actually seen very little of it and unless there's a firm release date on the 13th I'm going to really start doubting it'll hit before Christmas.

I want no more details. Ready to go in almost blind. I'll probably watch a recording of this and skip over the Odyssey segments. Cant wait for next month!

The Wednesday direct is almost twice as long as the E3 presentation. I have to assume its because there are some deep dives but I'm curious to see if there's space for anything new

I bet a solid 15-20min is dedicated to Odyssey.

I hope they don't spoil too much.

Wish list for ports, as usual, are Bayonetta 2 and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. A Captain Toad sequel would be A+.

I think they save Smash and Mario Maker news for E3.

I won't be surprised if they push Xenoblade Chronicles 2 to next year, but then again one of the writers of the game retweeted the Japanese Direct announcement so I have to assume its on track for the holidays.

They straight up said that there is no new for mobile apps, so the best shot for Animal Crossing mobile news is tomorrow at the Apple event.

I could see one of those being in an early 2018 direct if it's more port than sequel.

All I want in life is a Luigi's Mansion sequel not on 3DS.
