There's something therapeutic to the rhythm of farming, a feeling that has gamers burning through hours as they manage their crops and livestock. Farming Simulator from Giants Software is a more realistic sim within the farm sim genre and it's bringing its modern harvesting to the Nintendo Switch in November.

Switch owners will now be able to utilize over 250 farming vehicles to do everything from harvesting to selling products in their dream farm on this new edition of Farming Simulator. The Switch's touch screen makes managing your farm that much easier as you develop either in North America or Eastern Europe.

With the recently announced port of L.A. Noire and things like this edition of Farming Simulator, the Switch is getting the third-party game support that casual consumers hoped for. On top of that, exclusive titles like Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle will continue to lift the Switch up as a must-own gaming console. Farming Simulator Switch Edtion will be released in November this year and can be pre-ordered now

I bet that game's unexpectedly a lot of fun, like Euro Truck Simulator. Some of the UIs look quite complex; I wonder if the Switch will handle those well.

Did you ever see the nintendo ds version of Remote Control Dandy / Robot Alchemic Drive?
It was like a UI-figuring-out game- you had all these weird robots with weird control panels but the gameplay was so simplistic that the point of the game was really just screwing with the funny control panels on the touch screen...

One of my favorite streamers when I used to watch twitch a lot was a farming simulator hillbilly. That shit looks relaxing to play and it was really relaxing to watch.
