Microsoft has entered the virtual reality battlefield in a big way with their announcement of new headsets coming this October. While the affordability of the headsets and their ease of use are certainly appealing, the people want to know about the games. Rejoice, people, because VR Halo is coming to the platform along with some of the greatest hits of virtual reality.

Included in Microsoft’s monumental mixed reality update we covered today, the company shared an image featuring different games and companies that will be contributing to the new immersive Windows platforms.

The above image shows that these incoming headsets will have quite a bit of content available at launch. A few VR gaming greatest hits including ARK Park, Arizona Sunshine, and SUPERHOT VR will be coming to the various Microsoft mixed reality headsets. The inclusion of Hulu, Life FR, Jaunt VR (which is undergoing a redesign for the launch), and many others show that you’ll have quite a diverse collection of content available if you decide to grab one the devices.

On top of all this, Microsoft dropped the logos for Halo and Minecraft in with the collective that will be supplying experiences to their devices. There’s a chance we’ll learn more about what type of immersive content will involve the Halo and Minecraft worlds this week during the IFA tech show, but the idea of either or both serving as the foundation for VR or AR content should boost your heart rate. A well known VR killer app is something enthusiasts and consumers have sought out and, while the upcoming titles from Bethesda could serve that purpose, Halo and Minecraft are certified boons to Microsoft’s headsets.
