Pro Evolution Soccer 2018's release is right around the corner, but Konami wants to build a bit more anticipation for it by launching a demo for the game on August 30. The good news is it showcase all of PES 2018's new features. The bad news is it will only be available in offline mode.

The demo will offer co-op modes for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players, with only two stadiums available - Camp Nou and Signal Iduna Park. Players will also be able to choose from a select group of European and South American clubs, as well as national teams for Brazil, Argentina and Germany.

PES 2018 has upgraded the game speeds and dribbling capabilities of players from last year's edition for better ball control. It has also improved the 2v2 and 3v3 co-op modes where players can group up with friends and play online with others around the world. PES 2018 Legends is adding more players, including the recently announced David Beckham, Brazilians Romario and Socrates, and Liverpool icons Michael Owen, Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler.

While console players have always enjoyed the best the series had to offer, PC players had to suffer through older-engine ports from the consoles. However, this year, Konami has made a special effort to improve aesthetics and content to make it match with what current gen consoles are getting.

PES 2018 will be launching on September 12 in the United States for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC (via Steam), Xbox 360 and PS3, and two days later on all platforms worldwide.
