Frontier Developments has been busy with it space sim Elite Dangerous, but it does have experience in more traditional sim games, such as popular Roller Coaster Tycoon series. So it should come as no surprise that the developer is creating a new sim game, this time putting you in the role of a dinosaur entrepreneur in Jurassic World Evolution.

The game was revealed in a new trailer at Gamescom, although only in pre-rendered visuals instead of actual gameplay. Players will be able to create their own park attractions, bioengineer different dinosaur breeds, all while keeping an eye on containment of the big beasties and ensure the safety of the ark and its guests.

“As long-time fans of the entire Jurassic series we’re thrilled to be putting players in charge of their own Jurassic World,” Frontier’s Chief Creative Officer Jonny Watts said in a press release. “We’re excited to bring over 15 years of management, simulation, and creature development expertise to a destination and franchise that remains an inspiration to us.”

Not much else was said about it other than it would be coming for PS4, Xbox One and PC some time next summer, which coincidentally matches the timing of the release of the nest Jurassic World movie Fallen Kingdom in June.
