E3 2017: Chattycast E3 Day -1: More EA Time, Xbox, and Bethesda

Five Shacknews staffers again meet, this time in the dead of night, to talk about another spate of EA demos, Microsoft's big Xbox One X reveal, Bethesda's party for itself, and more.

E3 is inching ever closer, and today Microsoft and Bethesda took their turns at the press conference circuit. Shacknews CEO and editorial director Asif Khan, editor-in-chief Steve Watts, contributing editor David Craddock, intern Donovan Erskine, and video producer Greg Burke reconvened for another pre-E3 podcast, this time starting late due to Bethesda's conference having such an untimely start.

Herein you'll find our thoughts on Star Wars Battlefront 2's single-player component, Xbox's big gamble with its Xbox One X console, the great and pretty exciting variety of Xbox software, and Bethesda's line-up of updates, additions, and some new surprises. Plus we talk a little about Bethesda's party, "Bethesdaland," which surrounded its press conference like a fine hamburger wrapper.

You can listen to the podcast on Podbean or subscribe to hear it and much more from your hosts throughout the show.
