WWDC: Monument Valley 2 is available on iOS

Apple casually announced the sequel, out now for only five bucks, at today's WWDC.

While detailing its overhauled App Store, Apple announced that Monument Valley 2 is now available on iOS. You can get it now for only $5.

Monument Valley is considered by many to be among the greatest mobile games of all time. A puzzle game, the original title featured colorful, surrealist artwork. The sequel returns to the valley in the role of a mother searching for her child. At certain junctures, you'll play as the child. Monument Valley 2's visual style is in line with the first game's, as is its focus on puzzles, exploration, and ambience.

Monument Valley 2 was one of several gaming-related announcements at this year's annual Apple conference. The manufacturer showed its commitment to AR by teasing an AR kit for iOS 11. The new-and-improved App Store, which will debut with iOS 11 later this year, will delineate games and regular apps by giving games its own tab.
