I spent a lot of time when I was younger, <16, performing various tasks within the 'scene.' I dropped all contacts which I had around when I was 17, things went south and I was too close into getting in trouble, I am 23 now.
Through my time spent basically dicking around I developed many skills that are applicable for me today, and sets me apart drastically in specific fields apart from my coworkers, some of which are senior engineers.
I can say looking back I would not be where I am today if it was not for piracy, not necessarily the pirating itself but a culmination of skills I developed working within the scene to support it.
I do feel guilt about what I have done as my adventures have gotton me involved in things that I regret doing to this day. You can crucify me if you want, but I am sorry for the damage that I may have caused.
