Sony to launch PlayStation web store this month

The PlayStation Network has made huge inroads on Xbox Live Arcade over the years, now looking the better online service in many ways, but it has been missing a way to access the store over the cyberweb. Corpse Party: Book of Shadows celebrating on PSP next week

Invited to a party! Ooh, how exciting! Your party frock is so pretty and you've brought such a thoughtful gift, but... why do half the guests have blank faces? And why are they eating people? There's no such party, of course, this is purely a lie I've told to introduce the news that publisher Xseed has confirmed horrifying PSP adventure sequel Corpse Party: Book of Shadows will hit PSP on January 15.

Lawks, will you look at that! This week brings that most rare and precious of new releases: a new PlayStation 2 game, in the form of PES 2013. Oh, and something named Halo 4 is coming out. It's probably popular if there are at least four, unless this is comedy The Naked Gun-style naming.

In truth, Xseed has announced it's bringing anime-inspired horror-adventure sequel Corpse Party: Book of Shadows westwards this winter for PSP. No one wants to invite you to their party.

Start decking the halls, gang.

New game releases: September 10-16

NexNext week's a fairly busy one, bringing Joe Danger 2, FTL, Double Dragon: Neon, NHL 13, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition, and heaps more. There's little to put on your shelf in a box, but plenty to download.
