On the heels of Capcom's franchise sales outing, Ubisoft has followed suit by releasing a list of its best-selling properties, allowing for an interesting peek into the publishing giant's records.

Official Ubisoft mascot Rayman tops the list with an impressive 22 million units sold, according to GamesIndustry.biz. Created by designer Michel Ancel in 1995, the original Rayman platformer sold over 10 million copies on PlayStation. The yellow-haired character has since gone on to star in over a dozen games.

Assassin's Creed rings in at an impressive 6 million sold, while the Petz franchise accounts for a staggering 13 million units. Check out the full list below.

    Intresting.

To me Rayman has not been good since Rayman 1 and Rayman 3. I think they destroyed a perfectly capable platformer and turned it into nonsense.

Well, Raving rabbids is pretty enjoyable, if mostly unrelated to Rayman..

Personally I love the Rabbids but it's a shame that they seem to have replaced the platform games. I would have thought there would be room in the market for them to run alongside a traditional Rayman game.

I wonder what percentage of the Rayman figure is the Raving Rabbids games.

Rayman Rabidds 2 is one of the huge reasons I like my wii, if it wasn't for that game I would probably sell my wii.

Their personality is so unique and in depth its about time a game like this came out
