Far Cry Primal is tons of fun. Let's be honest. But during all those days you spend taming and riding the wild beasts of Oros, you're going to need to take a break and let Takkar get a little rest sometimes. This guide will teach you everything you need to know to magically take control of time and shift from day to night and vice versa.

Sleeping in a bed can be extremely effective. Not only can it let you magically shift to nightfall or dawn, but it also allows you to fast forward to the next day and grab some much needed supplies from your Reward Stash back at camp.

Learn how to tame animals and ride the apex predators of Oros.

To sleep you'll want to find a Bonfire, Outpost or travel back to Takkar's cave. Some Campfires scattered around Oros also offer beds that Takkar can rest in, but they are few and far between. Once you arrive at an applicable location, look around for a bed of animal skins on the ground. This is where Takkar can sleep. Walk up to it and interact with it to get two options. Now you can either Sleep Until Dawn or Sleep Until Nightfall.

Why would anyone ever sleep until nightfall? Well when night comes to Oros, the land becomes overwhelmed with predators like Jaguars, Cave Lions, Wolves, and Leopards. This makes night time a perfect time to hunt for those predator skins you need for your crafting and weapon upgrades. It's also a really great time to look for the supplies you'll need to upgrade your village and unlock more main story missions. You'll also have to wait until nightfall to hunt specific animals like Tall Elk and the Bloodfang Sabretooth Tiger.
