The Firearms Team today released version 2.1 of their popular Half-Life MOD. Firearms is a multiplayer game featuring a skill system for character customization, ranks of Private through Brigadier General, realistic settings and weapons, and team play. This release of Firearms contains a new skill system, Windows and Linux Servers, nine new maps and more. As part of Valve's on-going support of MOD teams, one of the new maps (ps_sandblast) was created by Valve's Jeff Lane (author of Warpath). Firearms 2.1 is available now from the Half-Life Custom Game menu or via traditional download at the Firearms website
