[Update] Ian Howlett tells us that the Nintendo 3DS, so far, is a no-show at the event. It is, however, still being advertised in all promotional material for the three-day event.

[Original] Beginning tonight and running until Sunday, Toronto will welcome gamers and fans of comics, sci-fi franchises and more to its annual multigenre fan convention, dubbed FanExpo.

The gaming "section" of the event--held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in the heart of Canada's largest city--is set to feature Sony's PlayStation Move, Microsoft's Kinect and the upcoming "glasses-free" handheld from Nintendo, the 3DS. [See update]

Additionally, fans will have a chance to meet nerd darling Felicia Day, Video Games Live co-founder Tommy Tallarico, Weekend Confirmed co-host Jeff Cannata, and legendary Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano.

For complete details make sure to check out the official FanExpo Gaming Event website [PDF] and gas up the car because this is happening right now.
