PushButton Labs, a small developer formed by GarageGames vets, today announced that it has acquired the rights to The Incredible Machine games, the classic series of Rube Goldberg-style puzzlers. The company has released the older titles on digital retailer GOG.com, and apparently plans to explore a sequel.

"TIM was a genre defining franchise and I could not be happier to have the property available to PushButton Labs," said PushButton co-founder and original Incredible Machine co-designer Jeff Tunnell. "I'm very excited to see what we can do with it moving forward."

The GOG pack includes the following games for $10:

  • The Even More Incredible Machine (includes The Incredible Machine with new puzzles)
  • The Incredible Machine 3 (Windows compatible The Incredible Machine 2 with new interface and enhanced graphics)
  • Return of the Incredible Machine Contraptions
  • The Incredible Machine - Even More Contraptions
