Dante's Inferno Screenshots Fresh out of Hell

New E3 screenshots of Dante's Inferno show more of the scythe combat and magic grafted onto the video game adaptation of Dante Alighieri's renowned epic poem.

Coming from Dead Space developer Visceral Games--formerly known as EA Redwood Shores--Dante's Inferno is set for release on Xbox 360, PSP and PlayStation 3 in 2010.

looking good. I'm just hoping it's story won't be as shitty as the story in Dead Space. I mean, come on. was that cliched or what?

but considering the original dante's inferno, it might be good.

I'm guessing its going to be Nothing like the divine comedy. I don't understand why they paid money to use the name "dante's inferno", it seems wholly unnecessary.

        hype my friend :)

you have no idea how many kids will jump on that train, and start acting all smart about the divine comedy. you will be able just to cry from laughter.

you cannot translate a master piece of literature in a game, if your only goal is money. simple isn't it? :)

I believe Dante's Inferno is considered "fair use" so the answer to that is that they didn't pay money to use it.
