Rock Band Publisher MTV Signs Deal With Beatles License Holder

MTV Games, owner of Rock Band developer Harmonix, has sent out a press release announcing that at a press conference tomorrow, it will detail an exclusive agreement with Apple Corps Ltd "to develop a global music project".

Apple Corps has nothing to do with iPods or MacBooks, instead it represents all business dealings of The Beatles. As such, it seems obvious a music game featuring music by The Beatles will be unveiled at the event.

Back in June, the Financial Times reported that both MTV Games and Guitar Hero publisher Activision were vying for the rights to create a videogame featuring The Beatles music.

More details will be revealed at tomorrow's press conference, which will start at 9AM Central.
