Isopod Lab's oft-delayed revival of the long-lost vehicular combat series Vigilante 8 will at long last hit Xbox 360 as a downloadable Xbox Live Arcade game on November 5, publisher Activision has announced.

Packing eight-person online multiplayer along with other tweaks, Vigilante 8: Arcade will sell for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). While the original was crafted by Luxoflux, Isopod Labs was formed by veterans from Luxoflux.

I'll probably get flamed for this, but I always liked this series better than Twisted Metal.

Don't see why you would. I think V8 was a better game as well. Although, it has been ages since I've last played it.

Twisted Metal was good, but it was nothing compared to V8. Slick Clyde ftmfw.

Twisted Metal 2 was better than all of them, but the V8 games were better than the later TM games, for sure.
