Fatal Inertia EX Slams onto PSN Next Month

2
Koei's long-developed futuristic racer Fatal Inertia EX is hitting the PlayStation Network next month, MTV Multiplayer reports.

Fatal Inertia was originally slated to be a PlayStation 3 launch title, but has since been delayed multiple times. The game was released on Xbox 360 in September 2007.

Denoted by an EX, this version of the game will come with new features and gameplay changes, including a training venue with eight new tracks.

Expect Fatal Inertia EX to be released on the PlayStation Network in late May, for the price of $29.99.

Don't bother, it's a horrible, horrible game. I grabbed the demo and it was the fastest delete I have ever done. I don't know how you fuck up a Wipeout style game, but they did it. The controls are horrid.

But I'm sure it's great with intuitive SIXAXIS control!

From watching a video review of the game at GameTrailers, I think the problem with Fatal Inertia is that it looks so damn boring to play. Wipeout, F-Zero, and even the pinballish Extreme-G beat it out in speed, and by the same token, excitement.

That's a shame. There's a huge void where many a futuristic racer should be.
