Sierra Announces Assault Heroes 2

A sequel to Wanako Studios' popular top-down arcade shooter Assault Heroes is set for release this spring on Xbox Live Arcade, publisher Sierra Online announced today.

Assault Heroes 2 will expand the series into outer space, and include hijackable enemy vehicles, a slew of new levels and an enhanced cooperative gameplay mode. No price point was announced, though the game is likely to carry the same 800 Microsoft Points ($10) price as the original Assault Heroes.
