replyFor christmas I got Spiderman 2 the movie for the Xbox (I did have the horrible PC verson) and with my "christmas" money I bought Xmen Legends. Good thing I just bought a replacement DVD drive for my Xbox to repair it. I know everyone here played these ages ago but this is the first time this year I have something to say about console gaming. So just try and stop me!!!

Xmen Legends - I'm rather surprised I'm not liking this as much as I though. I'm still early in the game but it seems overly hard and really its kind of a button masher. I'm also kind of disappointed that the costumes are Ultimate Xmen but it makes sense that during most the the game's existance in thw womb of Raven, those WERE the costumes Marvel wanted to use.
Spiderman 2 The movie - This game is like a dream. The Spiderman game I always wanted to play but never existed finally is here. I am gaving a ball just swinging around. The contols are a bit complicated and while I'm fine now, I am rather concern that much like the original Spiderman 2 (based on the comic) game for the Xbox, I'm probably not going to be able to finish the game as the missions get harder.
Still, both games are a leap ahead of games like Batman Dark Tomorrow.
Also, since I just got a working Xbox again, I was wondering what were some of the good games that came out in the past year and a half while the thing collected dust. Yes I know about Halo 2, I just find FPS too frustrating on consoles. Before anyone gets defensive, I have the use of only one hand. Try playing any fps on an Xbox controller with just one hand and see if you find that a fun experence. Anyways, I am mostly interested in platformers I guess with anything wacky and original is cool too.-
I liked full spectrum warrior and the lord of the rings: return of the king game.

I can play most things with one hand. For the original Halo I sat on the floor with my legs cross. I pressed the triggers by pushing the whole controller against my leg this activating the triggers. Its not very comfortable and as difficulty ramps up, so does my frustration level and I can't control the game as well when unnerved. I don't find many games I can't play, but sometimes a game will require a rapid combo and then sometimes I'm screwed. In fact I even played and finished Mario 64 on the standard N64 controller. I think I should of gotten a metal for that.

While my favorite Xbox controller is the Microsoft S pad (the small one), I have a Thrusmaster pad that lets me remap anything to anything and that solves most things. I even sometimes will pause a game, switch controllers, program the Thrustmaster to get me past a hard part and then switch back.
Yes the hulk game looks VERY interesting. Can't wait to play it.. Hope it allows us to remodel the city.-
