Going to take a break from HL2 for some more ESPN NBA 2K5 I think as I found myself rushing through it when I know I dont want to.

    i got to this point where i needed to raise a jump for my airboat. there was an elevator hooked to some pulleys that wheni jumped into, would lower, elevating the jump.
    
    so i think *aha* i'll put stuff in the elevator to weight it down.
    
    so i scour the area, finding a couple boxes, an ammo crate, and several cinderblocks. not enough, eh? lame. so i look around longe and notice a washing machine on a platform over the elevator...
    
    long story short: climb climb, push push, fall, BANG! crush everything in the elevator and raise my jump.
    
    after that i drove away in my airboat. vroom.

        Yea I took 2-3 hours at least to get there
        
        I'm not looking for secrets everywhere, but I rarely ever use the run key, and I try to fight every enemy I see.
        
        Some of the fights later on are pretty damn sweet.
        
        One part really reminded me of one of my favorite parts of Halo.
