QuakeCon Keynote Coverage

Both AMD Zone and HomeLAN Fed have QuakeCon keynote highlights posted. John Carmack did not attend as he became a dad yesterday (congrats to him and Anna Kang), but he talked about various technical items by ways of a video instead. The Q&A part of the keynote address again covered the DOOM 3 SDK and movie, Quake 4 and other id Software topics.

Im wondering if Carmack did a math calculation to figure out exactly when to impregnate his Wife so that the kid would be born @ Quakecon... hmm

  I'm sure fractal based complexity theory and quantum mechanics were involved to take into account the element of chance in the equation and circumvent it!

    A semi-sinusisoidal approximation paradigm should be taken into account when establishing a pattern based on previous birthday apexes, thus making a rough guess more than enough from a father standpoint.
