NWN Expansion Golden

According to the Shadows of Undrentide website, this Neverwinter Nights expansion pack has gone gold. It will be on store shelves "in the coming weeks".

Is it really gold, or are they just shipping a beta like the original?

I gave up on the original after it fried three characters in a row, each representing a couple of days of effort.

  You *must* have been doing something wrong. Ive never had char problems except when Ive forgotten to save.

    No problems here either. Just too bad I didn't save my old character to import into the expansion, assuming you can.

    I must have done something wrong? Yep, that's why they verified every single crash bug. Each time the solution was, "Try to avoid that." Of course, they could never say what to avoid until I found a means of crashing it.
    
    Each time, I was one of MANY people who encountered the bug (as evidenced by posts in various message forums.)
    
    Don't fall back on the moronic, "You must have done something wrong" bit. Exactly what can you "do wrong" that causes a corruption in the save game, or a plot stopping bug to appear?
    
    If you didn't see the THOUSANDS of people complaining when it came out, you simply weren't looking. Go back and search the message boards for the months immediately following its release. I was one of an army of people complaining.
    
    Maybe you got lucky in your play-through, but there is no doubt that NWN was released with many, many critical bugs.
