Same here....but they haven't given a date on when the open beta starts. I'm really looking forward to it though.

Uh, they specifically said your fights won't make a difference. It's impossible for one side to win. Forever and ever, you'll just take control and lose control of different areas.

        Wheee.

Can you show us where they said that? I find it very hard to believe they would say anything like that. Impossible for one side to win I can believe, but saying the fights won't ever make a difference makes the game sound stupid and pointless.

You can't "win" in that you can't eleminate one faction form the game... but if you own a whole continent, you get huge bonuses (both from a character dev point, as well as aditional stuff you side can do / make in bases) so in theory one side could lock down all the contients and the other two would just be able to attck from the "safe" base that each side has (that can't be taken over)

Tho I highly doubt anyone could pull this off.....

If you got into "closed" beta, you DL it... if you get into "open" beta, they mail you a CD. Even though they are not shipping yet, the 'open' beta emails went out (to confirm mailing addresses)
