Parhelia Benchmarks

134
Looks like the benchmarks for the new Matrox card have snuck their way out a little early. There isnt much of a nice way to describe the numbers either. It's in German over at TomsHardware currently but the international language of benchmarks speaks volumes. It's loading quite slow at this point, but here's a good summary of stuff that Kyle @ HOCP gave:

Aquanox - Parhelia was beaten by ATI's 128MB 8500 and the Ti4600 nearly doubled the score.
Comanche 4 - Parhelia not breaking the 30FPS barrier at 1024x768 while the Ti4600 broke 40.
Jedi Knight 2 - At 1024x768 the Parhelia was about 30% behind both the 8500 and the Ti4600.
3DMark2002 SE v330 - Just breaking into the 7000s while their test system was breaking 10K with the Ti4600. The 8500 dusted it again as well.
Quake 3 Arena - Parhelia lagging way behind both cards and not even giving deathmatch playable frame rates at 1600x1200 in my opinion.

The 128mb card will be selling for $399, and a cheaper 64mb and higher end 256mb card is planned for later in the summer according to the PR. update: The marks arent up anymore. However they are basically circulating every hardware site (HOCP/Anand, etc) and forum on the net. Expect the rest of the info to come out tomorrow as all the NDAs expire.

I wrote this post in haste, thinking the benches would be awesome, but in the end, this card looks like crap. Way to make me look stupid, Matrox!
