Well Maarten let me have the reins on this one, since I know he hates doing First Posts anyway. First, as Steve mentioned yesterday, he and I went fake rock climbing again for the first time in over a month yesterday. I'd been on E3 crunch and he's been touring the nation trying to rip people off. Anyway, it was pretty sad how out of it both of us were. I think we each got maybe five or six climbs in before feeling absolutely dead. I hate crunches.

Oh, another reason for the First Post it to toot my own horn for Metroid winning IGN's overall best of show! Woo hoo. For some reason, Animal Crossing won GameSpy's best GameCube game of show (with Doom3 winning overall, of course), but Bruce Campbell won best booth babe there. You can draw your own conclusions from that one.
